Cru'teams first hunt of 2009...

Now that we know we have a good field to search until its planted we are continuing the search from where Shaun7 & I left off yesterday.

Dad could not get a Roman Coin yesterday but got 1 on the first run today & I got 1 on the 2nd run. That was it for the roman coins today which is no surprise as we have very few plotted on this side of the field.

Nearly finished the bottom section & then we will move to the lower-middle section. This field is large enough that we have to divide it into 4 large strips. Its about 20-25 acres but we plan to cover every inch. Some areas will have very little but always stick to the system

Woody, the button count has begun

Nice Tudor buuton & a 1780s Queens Own IV Dragoon Guards Pewter button.

A nice short but steady hunt.

(sorry about picture size, I just realised someone messed with the settings >:( )

OK, will see what I can find about it.
The Avatar is an gold 2 escudo without date, of Philips III (1598-1621) Minted in Valladolid (Spain).
One of the gold coins that I found standing up between walls in a removed building in Hoorn, where I live.
Between the floor and the side of the old house's foundations.
