Went to an older park in the area and was a bit optimistic about finding some older coins. Turns out the park was well hit and even checking the oddball spots wasn't working. Only pulled up seven coins in two hours. No quarters, two nickels, two dimes and the rest pennies.
Had one penny that rang in really low on the AT Pro and when I pulled it, noticed a heavy copper patina (blue-ish coloration). Looked at it at home and I lucked into my first indian head penny (1906). My oldest coin (so far)!
Thought about posting a pick, but..............it looks exactly like a 1906 Indian head penny....
