Cru'Dads Weekend Finds...

I had a weekend off nursing a hand injury, so it was left to Dad to hunt alone. This will be the first year ever (the way its heading) that Dad has done more hours than me. I think the below is the result of about 7 hours on a couple of fields. Mostly he took a punt on a large field near our homes that we have spent very little time on.

3 Scrappies
Broken Tudor Clothes Fastener
A mid 19th C Hunts Button - image of a fox biting a dog with another dog about to attack (I think I have 1 other of these??)
Interesting Victorian Horse Blinker in the shape of a tun/barrel - our first
1717 Sicilian coin of Duke of Savoy Victor Amedeo II (internet picture attached of a better shaped one) - another first

Very Cool ,MAN! the all the history over there to be found.

Congrats to Crudad! The hunting button is the coolest i've ever seen, the Victor Amedo II copper is really nice and if all my scrappies look like the left one i'd be happy!

Nice finds by Cru's Dad! Hope your hand heals quick, CRUSADER. I hear those coins, buttons and other goodies calling your name!

Yes, but the reverse is near blank, so no album coin this time.

I'll be fine by next week, I could of pushed it, but I'm getting a little too sensible in my older age.:laughing7:

Some very interesting finds - love that 1717 coin!

Congrats to CruDad. I really like the Sicilian coin.

Cheers,

Buck

I bet Dad enjoyed showing "Junior" the old man can still swing with the young whippersnappers, lol. Good luck with your hand. Hope it heals very quickly. Thanks for sharing.

Work is continuing, no time off needed, it would be wrong to not go out this weekend....

Nice finds, it sure would be nice to live somewhere where you can expect to find a coin older the the 1800's.

Even over here, you can never expect anything, unless you want to be disappointed, but with some work/time you can do well....

Go Cru' Dad go! :) Keep 'em coming, guys.

you recover soon you hand... and get some rest. :hello:
