About once a month I have an area that I go to that is largely Korean. Many Korean banks in that small area. They have always been nice to me and very helpful.

I went into one of my normal banks that always has just a few halves, they usually apologise because they are a brand new branch. This time they have $650 worth. I asked if they were all deposited by one person?(yes) at one time?(yes) does he deposit at lot? (yes)

Sound familiar? this must be someones dump! So I decide to only get $250 and go to my car to check them out. Only one 40% in the whole lot. This is a dump in my opinion, so I go on to another bank. I grab all the wrappers to throw them away and notice the account number written on every one. They are written in 123's like we do but in a Korean handwriting (lots of squared off corners and slashes) I think we now have a Korean CRHer.

I wonder if he is on our board. If so, Annyong haseyo! ;D (hello)

But, he does not hunt in his own backyard. I went to another bank in the same shopping center parking lot and only found two rolls. Inside were 3 - 90% and 9 - 40% JFKs. ;D

I think it may be a legit deposit.
Not a CRH'r.
I would get the rest.

1 40% in $250......... I wish I could do that well , sometimes. It would be worth it to get the rest, as TX TIM said. HH Gayle

I'd buy the rest. The only ways to tell a dump in my experience is if they are rerolled in the fed wrappers, the bag has bits of fed wrappers in it, or you hear, "He comes here all the time and deposits them. I don't know where he gets them all." Perhaps you'll find some more silver? If not it doesn't take that long to look through $650's worth and throw them back in the wrappers.

I'd definitely go back for the rest.
OK, you guys talked me into it, but won't be able to for 2 weeks. They may be gone by then or have more. This Saturday I visit a bank in _________ A teller is bringing in her stash of silver and old nickels she has been saving for a long time. She approached me to buy them as I was leaving her bank 2 weeks ago. She does not know how much she has but wants to sell all. ;D
