I have worked out the logistics of my operation. My first week was so-so. I had 10 boxes halves, 5 boxes dimes and 1 box nickels:

8 x 90% Kennedys
26 x 40% Kennedys
1 x 90% Barber(if think thats what they're called) dime [1904]
15 x 90% Roosevelt Dimes
1 x 35% War Nickel

I am quite optimistic for the future here in NE. It seems that the locals are so obsessed with Cornhusker football that none of them have taken up CRH. I have secured 20 boxes per week starting thursday.:wav:

Nebraska??? I thought you were in Antarctica! Sounds like your first week was a good one. I used to live just south of Omaha, in Bellevue. It was nice.

Kindest regards,

Oh no I assure you there is competition in Nebraska. Besides myself I am finding a wide variety of marked coins every week. Good luck though, there is still plenty of silver to find.

I actually just did a road trip out towards lincoln about a month ago. Everywhere down to Beatrice and into Kansas. Was actually one of my worse road trips as I ended up with less than 20 silvers for a days work. Most of that banks told me that they had just been cleaned out of halves, maybe it was you?

Is there anything in NE beside corn and Husker football? I am sure if you can keep the natives anywhere fixated on something beside silver you can rake it in. Exception of course is big metro areas where those who know are fighting for an edge on the other CRH'ers. Good luck in NE and HH.

Are called Barbers or Liberty Heads.

I prefer Liberty Head but it is better know as Barber

Just curious... are you marking your coins? I just went through 3 boxes where nearly ever 3rd coin had a small red mark on the edge....

I am just here for a few weeks-months. I will return to my Antarctic lair as soon as the silver is stripped from these Great Plains.

I was hoping to find a "self service" coin counting machine somewhere in Lincoln but so far no luck. Are you aware of any in the Omaha area? Are you willing to divulge some good coin-dump locations?

Thanks.

I don't mark any coins but yeah I find TONS with that red mark down the side. Wells Fargo is my dump bank of choice.
