Coin roll hunting really isn't my thing, but if you don't enjoy it it's probably just going to be more of a hassel for you; you're likely going to need to search a lot of rolls to get some finds!

don't quit after one skunk box.

in my eyes.. only time i'd quit is after hitting an entire silver box... possibly 2 clads in it.

seeing as that'll never happen. CRHing is a daily hobby. you'll get into it soon.

try nickels, always throws out tons of variety

You might have better luck with half dollars… people that have been hoarding them have been cashing them in at banks without even thinking twice about it. I feel like the bank tellers should be nice and let them know but most of the tellers nowadays have no idea either. My grandma traded in most of my grandpas halves after he died thinking they were just plain halves… shame she could really have used the money too.
