The Bizarre Anti-Obamacare Ads That Are Creeping a Lot of People Out | Video | TheBlaze.com

Generation Opportunity, a Virginia-based conservative group, on Wednesday released two anti-Obamacare ads that are being described as just plain “creepy.”

Americans will start enrolling in the new health care law exchanges on Oct. 1, when the Affordable Care Act takes another step toward full implementation, and the bill’s architects are relying heavily on younger people to sign on.

Generation Opportunity wants to do something about that.

The two spots are part of a much larger campaign aimed at encouraging young people to “opt-out” of the Obamacare exchanges.

The group also wants young Americans to sign a pledge promising not to enroll in any insurance plans set up by the government.

“What we’re trying to communicate is, ‘No, you’re actually not required to buy health insurance,’” Generation Opportunity President Evan Feinberg told Yahoo! News. “You might have to pay a fine, but that’s going to be cheaper for you and better for you.”

Generation Opportunity plans to spend as much as $750,000 on its anti-Obamacare campaign.

And while opponents of the president’s health care law may agree with Generation Opportunity’s intentions, some are calling the ads, which feature an “Uncle Sam character that looks more like a terrifying circus clown,” just a bit too “nightmarish.” On the blog, Meredith Jessup compares the bizarro Uncle Sam to the notoriously creepy Demon Sheep.

The first spot, “The Exam,” features Uncle Sam in the role of a gynecologist.

The second one is titled “The Glove.”

Do you think these ads will help steer young voters away from Obamacare? Or do you think they’re too over-the-top to accomplish anything meaningful?

Funny...............

The second add reminds me of how I feel every time I look at my paycheck and how much I have left over after TAXES !!!!!!!:BangHead:

They send a better message. Trust Obamacare and you just might get screwed...
