Wow! That first one is really nice! Thanks for sharing them all

I’ve been posting on here since
2012. It seems to me , I might be wrong or paranoid, but I get an unfriendly feeling on this site. That’s why I hesitate to post anything here.
Sorry, but that’s how I feel.
Like a inclusive club that I’m not welcome.

Everything on this post looks very positive to me....:dontknow:

Y no doubt, I see nothing here. There are cliques though. When you just watch and see random posts lurking you see the new people come in and everyone is for the most part kind and supportive.

You eventually decide to join, wanting to contribute. Generally np there either so long as you join the chorus.

If you step outside your range though there are some that are not very nice and some turf battles will erupt. They have a little niche on this board and don't want to lose it.

I don't think anyone likes it, even them. Its just human nature. No different than high school really just anonymous.

Eventually you are accepted so long as you don't do anything stupid. Personally I like to see someone new put it to the old guard from time to time. It is a sign that we are still in a growing hobby rather than a declining one

Thats kind of funny FOI, kind of like" stickin it to the man". There is no doubt there is a hierarchy here so to speak, but I think it is mostly people who have been in this a long time and do have a lot of knowledge getting their due respect.

I’ve learned a lot from this forum.
I found my first point in 2011, quite by accident. I had no idea you could find artifacts in a creek. I walk my dogs through the creek to avoid ticks in the tall weeds and grass and brush.
I always thought you could only find artifacts in farm fields. This forum and a lot of reading references got me hooked.

I’ve now amassed a large collection. Most of my finds come from creeks.
Your correct- just like high school cliques and jealousy.

Don't get carried away. Jealousy is not a matter I referred to. That is a different matter entirely. I see few here that way. They do like to be right though, doesn't everybody?

There is no need to be contentious. You should relax a bit.

I’m sorry I misquoted, I meant no harm. You don’t know me from Adam, but I’ll tell you I’m a kind caring person and a Registered Nurse.
I stated my opinion, everyone has one. Sorry I posted anything and upset anyone.
