Crazy story

I stop'ed by at lunch at the downtown Bryan Texas street dig to see what they were busting up, I't just rained hard and I eyballed this, well they were close to a old cemetery that all bodies were supposable dug up and moved years ago.(a very big stink at the time) So I went into my antique store buddy and showed him, He thought the same thing, so now I dont know what to do, I get back to work and am thinking.(dangerous). Well I cant take a Human bone home, (likley there are laws), So I call the news paper tell em what I got (hopeing to cover my butt for picking it up) and tell em I 'm taking it to the P.D., I take it to the P.D. a uniform comes out looks at it and says "I'll go get a detective" He looks at it and says "lets go back to my office". he takes my info then wants to go see where I found it, we go over there and now there are 3 detectives. Meanwhile the press is calling the P.D. about it.( I'm a little nervouse at this time about lossing a decent hunting spot and causing the whole construction sight to be shut down). I take my leave go back to work wondering ( a little nervouse on starting some s----).
So then the officer calls me about 2 hrs later and says it is a pigs jaw. I'm relieved but a little unnerved and embaresed, So not 5 minutes later the paper calls and ask about it, I tell em it was a hog and they say O.K., them they call agien 3 hrs later for the whole scoop, I tell the story, AND HOPE IT DOSENT GO ANY FURTHER. Told ya it was a crazy story

had a similar thing happen to me i saw a skeleton wrapped around a tree looked at in disbelief for about 5 minutes took a better look and realized it was a fish skeleton damn thing was over 3 feet long if i had to guess i'd say a striped bass it scared the hell at of me like you i thought i was losing a good detecting spot

Thats really funny, they should make that into a CSI or a Monk show. You should write a treatment and send it to the show. I think now is submission time. Poor Pig...

Don't feel bad. You did the right thing. Humans and pigs have many bones that can look similar. The teeth should look quite a bit different, however, so I'm surprised the detectives didn't see that. Guess they don't see many skeletons.

Pig hearts are also very similar.They have been using pig heart valves in human heart surgery for more than a decade now.They are currently trying to genetically engineer a pig that would have a heart suitable for a human transplant.Now thats what you call being a human guinea pig! BTW-you did the right thing Texas connection.
