Walking through the woods behind one of my local parks I spotted something in a hole in a tree. A ratty cloth bag well inside was two years of letters back and forth from a couple involved in an affair. I just finished reading them all crazy to the guy was her sons baseball coach she goes on about how she love watching him with her son this could be a movie. Apparently when they couldn't meet up they would leave each other notes. Sad how it ends she's spilling her guts with full page letters and his few word replies definitely lost interest.

I guess e mail is too risky

Looks like they're old. Any hint as to date/year?

Very unique find! :icon_thumright: I wonder how long those have been there.

Tree mail !!!!!

Actually, , I was thinking, , paper doesn't hold up to long in the elements. I'm sure mm they can't be that old. That affair may still be going on??

The letters were also in a plastic bag inside the cloth one. They are dated from 2010-2012 so they sat in that tree a few years

Find out who hid them and request a "donation" to destroy them. I'm only kidding of course. Very bad OPSEC.

i know a cop who hides his cheating materials in the woods too. weird.

endless possibilities as what to do with these letters.
Like in Animal House, I picture Boone with an Angel on one shoulder, the Devil on the other, both giving advice.

Oh if he was a cop I'd definitely be doing a little blackmailing. He was a marine he ended all his letters with semper fi

Was the butter dish and coffee pot in the bag too. :coffee2:
