I saw this and bought it as soon as I saw it had a makers mark. It is marked "The Dreamer" and "Sterling" The collection is Echo of the Dreamer. This a major art/jewelry desiner from NYC. So this is a great score. Problem is, I can't find any thing similar sold or listed on their online distributors. These earings are heavy, but my scale is at home. I can't tell if these are real bone or ivory or what else it could be. Any thoughts would help. HH

Those are terrific earrings! Cool find.

What do you like about them? They seem huge and awkward. They weigh 23 grams combined. Do they look like bone to you?

I don't know what they are. They just look a lot different than anything I've ever seen. I was just looking around ... They look similar to designs by Amy Kahn Russell. I was looking at indigoartsDoTcom.

I agree they look similar. I am 100% they are the Echo of the Dreamer collection from NYC based on the hallmark. They have only been selling jewelry since 1993, but that is long enough to have a ton of retired pieces. I can't find any bone earrings they do that is similar. I found a seller on ebay that used to be a sales rep so I may ask them.

Are they cold? Any chance they could be stone or a type of marble?

I am going to have to do that. Have you had luck with that?
Every now and then, yes depending on what it is and how old it is. The company is small, a mother and daughter team. It was probably a piece designed by the mom before her daughter joined her, just based on the name of it, it may be one of her earlier original pieces. jmho
