cracker jacks or what

i found this id tag hunting a tore down house lot i showed it to vets that said they seen nothing like it so i thought it might have come out of a box of cracker jacks years ago. the back has: military identification coin owners name and address in side. , but when i dug it out of the ground and opend it , nothing but rotton paper inside. the frount has good luck to our army and us army

seem like its copper. i looked on line on tags, they had round one in the war between the states but i found no tag like this
