CPC Award Lapel Pin <<Age & Worth
>>
This belongs to a friend of mine whose great-aunt was a sales rep. for CPC (California Perfume Company) which is now know as Avon.
What he does not know is how old it is and what the karat of gold that it would be.
It says "Solid Gold" on the back of it and we are not sure if it is 24K or what. I did a Google on CPC and the it dates between 1925-1929.
Here is the link that I found it at and it is in the second row far right.
http://www.californiaperfumecompany.net/cpc_products/cpc_product_pages/cpc_representative_pins.htm
Not sure if the photo in the link has blue enamel on it as I did not see any remaining enamel on the one he has. Here are the pics of the one he has. Any information would be great.
Thanks in advance.
