Couple Relics and a '16 wheat...

Dug a couple neat relics. What appears to be a rouge case. The back side has broken glass on the inside. I assume this was a mirror at one time. Kinda weird thinking some lady was using this at the turn of the century. She's no doubt dead and gone and here I come along and dig it up. Weird. But, I guess that's the neat thing about this hobby. Also, found a small skeleton key and my oldest wheat to date (1916). Now if I could only find the silver!

Thanks for looking.

Silver is nice, but getting a relic like that compact would make me happy. :icon_sunny:

Nice finds, I like the key, with finds like that the silver can't be too far away !

that key looks cool, might be an old railroad switchlock key, any letters on other side?

Unfortunately the key has no markings on it.

Wow! Thanks for that info.
That's really neat seeing an old advertisement for it.
