Was going to go detecting for a couple hours this evening but the fields near my house have just been planted and the farmer doesn't like digging into the new seed...kept the detector in the car and tuned in my eyes. Only spent an hour in the field and conditions were rough...not much rain lately so lots of dust.

I did manage a decent, albeit broken, little side notch projectile point. It is small and would fit on a quarter. I also found a small thumb scraper...about the size of a silver dollar. Both are made from local quartz and are in the area of 2000 years old...approximately.

To cap off the evening on the way home I found $5.00 in the middle of the road. I was driving at the time and had to pull over and reverse...but hey, it's paper money!!

Yep...east coast.

That first one is a heart breaker. I love that milky white quartz.
Nice finds.
