Spent some time field hunting and around an old house I got permission to hunt. The field only produced a .22 shell and the house this copper thing. [along with a LOT of junk not shown].

It was still early so stopped a school I've hit I the past. I have 10x12 coil from the field hunt and decided to try it here. The result:

Two Roosies: 1947 and 1964 D and this 1956 Uncle Sam Half Buck play coin.

The half buck was bent in half so I very careful bent it back. On the back there is an outline of a deer head. Kind of a cool item.

Nice silver! I found a "plastic" dime last week! Shhhh don't tell the Mint. Or we'll all be playing with plastic coins soon (can't find those s too easy MD'ing) !

Good finds! I love finding play money .. so much of it just doesn't make it very long in the ground, though, at least in my neck of the woods.

Nice finds, silver always makes for a good day!
