First, I wanna thank everyone for there help on here. The middle of winter in Minnesota
isn't so great for detecting so I am glad I found this for another outlet.

1. I have alot of Brass/Bronze pipe fittings (i.e. Ball Valves) that have copper pipe soldered in them.
Do I need to unsweat the copper out of the fittings, or can a just cut the pipe off at the fitting,
and scrap the brass with a small amount of copper in them.
2. I have some non-copper, silver colored wire, I assume Aluminum??? Is it worth scrapping,
and if so do I need to strip it?
Thanks

1. yes you could cut the copper pipe. you will be loosing a little copper buy not much.
2. Aluminum is worth scraping. you will get around 60 cents a pound if you strip it. i am not sure what unstripped aluminum wire goes for, but you shouldn't worry about that and just strip it. yes its a pain in the :D but you will make more money.
