Hello All. I found these two items at two different home sites c.1900 to 1940.

The 1st one is brass, about 2-IN across, knurled on the side, and treaded, like a cap to something.

The 2nd one is about 2.5-IN in diameter, had glass on both sides (only one side after cleaning...oops), and is made of two brass rings, a brass plate with a hole in it and some kind of pot metal in between. I have found a couple of these before at other sites. Found the penny near this one.

Neither piece has any engraving on them to go by...any ideas? Thanks for the view and good luck. C9

It looks like a centrifugal clutch, the first photo is the clutch bell and the other photo are the clutch pack commonly used on RC Cars to weed esters to lawnmowers to old school mini-bikes and many other machines.

Never seen a clutch with a glass face. And the 'clutch pack' is bigger than the 'clutch bell', according to the OP.

The glass thing looks like an old radiator cap or other sight guage. Tony

Item #1 is possibly the remains of a vintage vented fuel/gas cap.
