Couple of odd brass pieces Texas Cabin New Years day dig

Found these two brass pieces this week at my Texas cabin site...one looks to be maybe some sort of strapping material used to bind something....any ideas? it measures nearly 4" and has some sort of hooks, or spike in it with small rivets...the next piece has a rounded end with one hole and a smaller rounded end with 4 holes...was this a decorative piece? If it were to be unfolded it would measure about 2.5".

All I can think of is some sort of battery compartment to an electrical device - maybe an old radio or a flashlight ?

They look like wire harness straps from a car.
