Couple of nice finds at a demolished 1700's house!

Finally got my machine back from White's (had to replace the circuit board) Had about an hour to kill so I went to a site where they demolished an old house, lots of trash and dirt piles. Wasn't having much luck except for a clad coin spill. I was almost ready to leave when i decided to scan the piles of dirt that they had bulldozed into the cellar hole. Found my first silver coin of the year, also my oldest silver to date!! Didn't know what it was but I could see a date 17??. Needless to say I was elated!! Well the boys on "What is it" let me know that I had found my first 1/2 reale, possibly 1787. Also found the large cent and a cool dog tag (any ideas of age?) It looks like a dog food company might have given them away? Well needless to say I will be back after the rain stops to spend more time on those piles, you can almost dig with your hands. It's great to be back......Rich.

Any Spanish silver is a good day. I only seem to get one a year now, but happy to see it show up in the dirt!

Nice large cent and spanish coin. I am sure there are more to be found at that location.
