The item on the left is approximately 3 inches long and 2 inches diameter but it has 6 sides. The bore is about
1 3/8 inch diameter. One end is squared like it would have accepted a wrench.

The item on the right is about 2 1/8 inch long. The decorative end is threaded on the inside for about a half inch. The pipe end is smoothed bore. Pipe diameter is 3/4 inch.

Just curious about these things. Any help would be appreciated.

The piece on the right could be part of a brass weather vane; the open bore end could have fit over a pipe/attachment to the roof, and the actual vane screwed into the top. :) Breezie

I think the piece on the left may have come from a well. This would have been on top of the casing where the sucker rod came through and conneted to what ever mechanism pumped the water (windmill, pump jack, hand pump ect.). I'll see if I can find a picture.
