Found these today at a couple of different houses. The Indian and the mystery coin, a 1/2 cent? Came from a house that's been good to me every time I go theres a coin. The medal is from a house right in CV proper. Anyone have an idea on the coin or the medal? The coin is in very bad shape but I see a left facing liberty, stars around her, I think it's a 1/2 cent, but maybe someone on here can confirm that for me pics are all sideways, dont know why. Stupid photo app!!!

I'd say your spot on with the ID on the larger copper, but I'm far from an expert on found largies. Grats and thanks for posting.

I would say you have yourself a v-nickel

^ I'd guess v nickel as well

Yup, V Nickel. Nice find!

Thanks for the ID on the coin,it was driving me nuts, I destroyed the coin trying to get a date. Funny I’ve dug v nicks before,so I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. Sometimes the corrosion makes for interesting patterns, but anyway thanks for the ID.

Some real nice saves. Congrats

Nice work! 🙌 Could the medal actually be a fob?

Don’t think it’s a fob, but who knows, looks like a medal u might give out for a school award, but by the looks of it,it’s pretty old.

I agree with a watch fob. Is there any makers mark on back? (Whitehead & Hoag maybe?)

Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Nice finds! :icon_thumleft: I'm saying a watch fob too. Great seal of New York
