Like in the last post I made these two were found in Lancaster Co VA, a part of the state that is a coastal plains section and pretty much all sand, silt and clay. This odd piece of sandstone (Quartz sandstone I believe) covered with some kind of coral I found on the beach of Corrotoman river. This was one of only two rocks found on the beach, the other pulled from the 7ft tall eroding bluff is a red quartzite I may post later, but there were dozens and dozens of Oyster shells. The second rock is a smaller miky quartz landscape pebble found in the yard, nothing special except I am wondering about the grey verticle striations that are on it. Thx.
