Couple Keeper's and a First.....

Didn't get out this morning with the other guy's,had a security system installed at the house.I met up with Ty and Howard at lunchtime at a farm where there's supposed to be an encampment....Couldn't locate it as of yet,but it's there...need's more research!Took a break and dropped Howard off and headed for an old farm field/new home constuction site that was a part of a battle at Williamsport here in MD.Started off slow but when I started heading into the briar's and vine's all was good....Not much for the day,a Sharp's .52 cal and a .58 cal three ring made at the Washington Arsenal....MY FIRST...has a "star" in the bottom.That's the first thing I check when I brush them off and tonight my wish was answered....Had a good time,just need to do some more research on the first farm.....HH

way to go!! it must be cool to be in civil war territory and dig a little piece of american history. what did the star signify? is it a makers mark or something?

The bullet was made at the Washington Arsenal in D.C.,just happy to have one now.

Congratulations on the "Star" bullet. Most of the ones I've found still have the dirt in them.
