My brother and I got out for about 2 hours yesterday to go to an older school near us. While we were there we found 6 Quarters, 7 Dimes, 3 Nickels, and 20 pennies 3 of which are wheaties. The years are '21, '44 s, and '55 D. For the record my brother found all 3 of them, and within a few feet of each other. Needless to say we'll be going back later this week to find the silver

Washingtonian, I share your confidence that there is silver to be found there . Although i am new to

detecting i can say , that slowing my sweep speed down , has allowed me to detect deeper signals . If the

old school has been pounded over the last 30 + years , you'll want to go deep. A smaller "sniper coil"

for plucking the goodies from the midst of the trash , might be a smart choice as well. Good luck !
