Last weekend I found some wheats in a certain spot in the area I was hunting just before the heat got unbearable, and I've been thinking all week that maybe that area had not been hit that hard in the past.(Visions of seated coins in my head!!)

Back at it again this morning at o'dark thirty. Worked the spot within the spot throughly, and managed to haul 2 1919 wheats, and 1890 & 1905 Indian heads. No silver? I guess that how it goes though. The spot I have only found a few coins >1920, so I guess people stopped inhabiting it. But it probably the mosting exciting spot to hunt, since when I get that deep repeating conish signal, my heart starts pounding!!!
