Heading South we stopped in the Fort Chiswell area again. Got a chance to do a bit of hunting on the permission I had got on the way up towards Canada. The flat button was the match to the other flat button I found my first hunt here. Was pretty cool to find the other buttons twin. It was not in as good of shape as my first one as you can see.The second button was really in good shape, and from what I have been able to Google this was for a coat back around the CW era.
Was hoping some of you guys/gals who know buttons could tell me exactly what I got here. The little 45 Cal round ball was also found here.

Thanks for looking!!

Thanks for looking....it may not be much, but for me a newbie at the coin/relic hunting...I confess...I love the History...and the finding of it....

Love the buttons. Can you tell what the back of the first button says?

I think you should be more excited about that first button.

Love that Virginia button. They're all very nice. An old piece of lead too. Cool digs mate.:headbang:
