Counterfeit 1788 Massachusetts Copper???

Here's another coin I got years ago from my uncle who said he got it in change at a NJ Turnpike toll plaza. It has what looks to be a "T" stamped in it to the right of the indian's feet. Also, above the head there's a mark that shows a silvery grey color metal underneath it. It weighs 13.4 grams on my scale. Any opinions would be helpful.

Looks like one of the many cheap souvenir replicas. Not sure what the T may represent, possibly the manufacturer.

Usually the replicas look better than this. It must've been made after the Hobby Protection Act which was approved November 29, 1973. You had to stamp the word copy on one of the sides after that.

Yes, that's the very reason I would get a confirmed no from someone who knows the coins well. I can not think of why any modern counterfeit would be made so crude. (Crude as in old crude, not modern outrageous obvious new looking crude)
