Could this be a meteorite?

Hi all you meteorite experts out there!

Was wondering if you could help identify this lump of rock for me?

All I know is that it originated in Australia and always thought to be a hand axe of some sort. After looking at it closely it seems to have a "crust" on the surface and different colour underneath.

It weighs 538 grams and I have worked out the density to be approximately 3.5g/cm2

It is slightly magnetic.

No one here can tell you if it is or isn't. Have it looked at by a geologist at your local college or university.
