I believe it's probably an eroded piece of folded foliation in a metamorphic rock.

1st - I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Pinky! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). Cool looking rock many many many people posts rocks on here Mother Nature has made just about every shape size color you name it they do look interesting.I would post it in Rock and Gems like he said.
