Still nice if you do not look at the bottom. horse.jpgDSC08174.JPG

I want to throat punch thrift stores that do that - and there are a lot of them. Use a damn price tag like the rest of the civilized world! :BangHead:

The ones around here that use price stickers always manage to put them where it will do the maximum amount of damage.

I hate that. Still not too bad though, and you can't really decipher it. List as marked on base by previous owner if you're looking to flip it? :dontknow:

It's a beautiful piece regardless.

My local goodwill does this. I've found that if I take a dab of hand sanitizer(I assume it's the alcohol in it) on a wash cloth and it usually comes right off.

What a beautiful piece! Maybe you could talk to them?

On porous surfaces its usually on there for good.

I did. Told the manager she lost a lot of sells from me because of the magic marker on all the stuff. She said that was to prevent price tags being switched. I can understand but why damage a good item. Will see if it does any good.

Nice find though! Can it be steamed out?

Have not thought of that but the marks are right by the imprinted maker marks. May damage those also. So I will do what was recommended. Sell with prior owners markings on the bottom.
