Could Be a Blade

I found this in a creek, but I can't say with any certainty that it's not just a creek-worn rock that happens to have a blade-like shape. Truth be told, I keep going back and forth that it is worked or not while analyzing it. It does have some features that appear to be worked, but if so, it seems fairly weathered. I did the best I could with close-ups. What do you all think? It is just under 6 cm in length.

I am going to say its a water worn rock and not a native American artifact.

The 3rd image does look somewhat what I would expect to see in a water warn relic that's been tumbled to a polish over years. The opposite side does not look like what I would expect to see on a blade. The other sides do not look like they have been knapped and then water worn to me.

Could have been something they were going to use but could also be a fractured rock with creek chatter. Water worn artifacts are really hard to tell sometimes. I always check for the bulb of percussion to see if it has one or not and if it doesn’t have one most of the times it’s just natural.

I’m on the fence on the OP one.
I sure can see why you are wondering. Not a lot of evidence of work, but as others stated, time can erase some of the signs.

Possible discarded preform

Check out this water worn Pickwick I found. It’s almost back to rock form. Sometimes it’s hard to tell. I bet many walked right past my find
You wanna see water worn you should see some of the beach finds on the Northeast coast. They are what they are called erased where most of the flaking is gone.
