Corn field finds. The token is a Foster and Parry token from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Not dated, but several on-line sites indicate that it is 1850. These are quite common in Michigan. I have found at least one other myself, maybe more. The IHP came out of the soil in relatively beautiful condition, the large cent not so much, although it looks like it would have had good detail when lost.
One of my favorite finds on the day is this old Fire Department button. Two piece, Scovill Mfg. backmark.
