Spring has sprung here in my corner of Western/Central NY! :icon_thumright:

So I'm hitting up a few fields before the farmers get busy with them... these are from a bean field where once stood three early 1800's home sites. Last year I pulled a couple early LC's from here and this week was no differant! Sweet!

Last week I posted the 1844 Braided Hair large cent (pic below), now I can add to that from the same field these two... 1832 Matron Head and a holed 1801 Draped Bust. I don't even care that it is holed, it is only the 2nd draped bust I've dug in over 6yrs of detecting. I'll take it!

Love those large cents. Hope to find a holed coin some day like that draped bust.

Oh yeah, a few buttons here and there. Last year a skeleton key, old clock key, not sure if I had a buckle or not.

I've been in this field probably close to a doszen visits at 2-3hrs each time. I was surprised that I still came up with more coppers this week. So yes, I'll be going back :icon_thumright:
 

I like the 3 varieties of coppers there...no ya gotta go get that classic head!
 

I would really likw somwe nicwe old silver, but a little copper will do too :icon_thumleft:
