Mystery Copper Item?

I found this on a property in Virginia. The house was built in 1940. I found this about 2 feet deep. I couldn't even see what the ID was on my Garret At Pro until I got it out. The ID was a 75-80. It looks to be made out of copper. It's very very brittle. Any ideas?

End cap from an umbrella or parasol handle?

Call me crazy but I really think it's a corn muffin pan

Just noticed there is writing on it if you could orient the picture so it is readable it might help with I.D. Look at last pic in the swag(drape) of the bunting on the right side.

Sorry. Actually the size of a half dollar. That's what I meant but just realized I said quarter. I don't think there is any writing on it. It's just a bunch of weird designs.

At that size it is likely the center of a Victorian era door knob - turn of the 20th C give or take a decade.

Search 'Eastlake door knobs' to see a couple thousand examples. Very popular back in the day.

Those are usually made out of brass I though. Seems too thin also.
