I made it out today and braved the wind and cold to a new spot for me. Its where I go fishing alot and thought I would try my luck. I found the usual junk and a few pennies and a couple of clad dimes. I did happen across a copper spoon, a fishing lure. At first, I thought it was a baby shoe horn but after closer inspection it turns out to be a spoon. It appears to be made of copper, it has a nice patina and looks pretty old. Anyone know if these lures were made of pure copper or the age? I'll post a picture soon. HH.
