Got out with Frank yesterday for an all-day hunt. Temps were perfect and finally a weekend without rain.

Nabbed the wonderful silver thimble, with someone's initials on it, looks to be EP. Also nabbed my 2nd copper of the year, might be a KGII, as I see what might be II but could be my eyes playing tricks on me.

Also nabbed this buckle that says Paris on it as well as this iddy bitty stirrup, about 3" x 3".

That thimble is real nice. I got a buckle just like yours years ago. I was told it was a waist adjuster or something like that. Mine was maybe early 1900s, but some can be earlier and even dated. Can’t help with the copper. Congrats on the nice finds.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Great little find and worth more that its weight in silver. Look up inside the thimble, as there may be some identifying makers marks. Antique thimbles have a pretty good collector base. I picked up any that I find cheap.
