Detector(s) used
AT Pro
Garrett pinpointer
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I found both of these in my parents front yard. (House built in 1911). I've been detecting about 6 weeks, This has me feeling good about my AT Pro because a family friend who's been hunting since the 60's hit the yard with his whites a couple years ago and I managed to find 6 wheaties in addition to these goodies.

The ring was 6" deep and I almost chucked it because it looked like a copper pipe trimming.. It's too small to fit on my pinky, and there are symbols on the top and I have no clue what they are. Any ideas??

And the bullet measures 1/2" long and .300" diameter. It has a concave back and 1 ring near the back. Any ideas if it's old and what caliber that would be?

Not sure what it is but the ring looks cool! Asian/Chinese writing? Any marks on the inside?

Nothing on the inside I could see, I quit trying to clean when I realized what it was and that I might damage it. Found it in Beckley WV, an old coal mining town, wondered if it could be Asian maybe an immigrant worker,, then I wondered if native Americans possibly made jewelry like this?

the ring translates to Good Fortune if I remember right
