a lot depends on the context it was found in...more pictures would help too. For example, I could make and patina that in about 5 min. if I wanted too with copper flashing I keep for projects.

It is I would think, check out sscindercoop on YouTube, he has videos finding points just like yours

This item was found by me at a site along the North River in eastern Massachusetts used by Native Americans for thousands of years,it was not made in my work shop

didnt mean to suggest it was, was just pointing out how important the back story is to us who want to help identify it.

Certainly looks like a point. That's what I'd call it. Especially given the location where it was recovered. Nice find!
