Copper points and pieces

Thought I would share a group of points that I found last summer. They were all found on private property

Kuger is right.Amazing is an understatement. Is that blocks of copper in the picture? I am interested in knowing more about the copper culture and trade copper.
 

Awesome. What type of impliment is that on the shelf above the display box.

Yes this is all from Wisconsin. I have to two sites that I'm working both private property.
 

How cow. I was just thinking this is a Wisconsin hunt and low and behold I read down.

Not sure which piece your talking about I will post some more pics soon of other pieces I found last summer. I got over 300 last year including all the small stuff and preforms

Yeah that's a crescent that I found in a swamp on one of the properties that I'm hunting. Wasn't the cleanest of hunts but I did get a few real nice pieces

Any idea what the were used for or how they are hafted.

From what I have learned about them modern day Eskimos call them uloos. They are used for skinning. That's really all I know at this point
