copper plate from an estate sale

found this copper plate at an estate sale for 2 bucks. looks high quality.
i think its cool, but i can't figure out what the picture is trying to express.
might be a religious kind of thing. looks like they are trying to take down a unicorn.
or killing a winged lion.
any ideas.

My daughter thinks it might be modern depiction of middle eastern art - Assyrian or
Babylonian - lion with eagle wings - that might give you some place to start googling.
A lion with wings is the symbol of Venice, but that would be later.
