I found these two lightweight copper pieces in the Atlantic Ocean surf today at lo tide off a South Florida beach. The flat piece could be shipwreck sheathing but Im more interested in the other copper piece. Its very small and lightweight, hollow on the inside. Any ideas?

Yes I think u r right. It looked familiar but i kept thinking a burner or lighter. It was probably a bait knife lost by a fisherman and the wood and steel blade rotted off and separated.
I found this small piece easily with my Detectorpro Pulse 11 inch coil.
