Looks like a stud to fasten onto leather.

They were used on horse tack,but they were very popular with the Cowboys,Indians and Buffalo hunters of the late 19 th century.They adorned cuff guards,knife sheaths,gun belts,guns,about everything leather you could think of!! :thumbsup:

:laughing7:I just wanted to add to it Bio,as we always seem to just label,"HORSE TACK"!Them guys were all blinged up during the late 19th century with those.....there horses too! :thumbsup:

I know. No offense taken. Horse tack is just my standard answer for things like this. Either that or furniture hardware. It's all good. And funny as well.
