I was thinking that too.
I know there are a lot of military markers on graves too. Not sure about Masonic emblems though?

Every marker I can find on a quick search are either carved/etched into the marker, or is a large brass emblem, or is a large (Think stick pin here) temporary marker. That doesn't mean there aren't any, I just didn't find one in my quick search.

You are probably correct with a grill badge. I once dug an emblem of similar size for a Kissel car. I had never heard of a Kissel car before. Turns out that one was mounted to the front of the radiator.

We will call this mystery SOLVED.
Thanks Guys. 🍺
Before you put it to sleep I would like to know if a road was close by?
Just thinking it flew off the car, or an accident.

No, it was about 10” deep in the backyard of a 1910 house.

Yes, the G stands for God and is also the initial letter of Geometry.
If you search for an on-line Masonic supply company, you should find where these can still be ordered. Modern ones are usually plastic and are seen on rear bumpers, trunk lids,
Tailgates, etc. I’m not sure the age of yours. 👍🏼
