Top shelf recoveries all of them.
Pictures are hard to read at times.
What was the bigger nugget weights.
That spear point is awesome 👌

Nuggets are not difficult to find you have to put yourself in a gold nugget patch, the copper pieces are very difficult to find in Ak there are a few places where copper nuggets can be found you have to research where they were found then find tribe sites were and know they traded for The copper pieces. The point was found in my front yard while trying out a new detector. It is laminated from nuggets. These natives made tools from copper . you’d play h…. finding anything now as their land is pretty much locked up

You found the copper in Alaska?
Would that have been native Copper in Alaska, or copper that traveled through trading?
Most interesting.

Those are all very nice finds. I agree with pepperj in that they are top shelf. I have also never heard of native copper being made into artifacts as far up as Alaska, so I am interested to hear about or read some more information about that. That would open up lots of Canadian ground to the potential for containing copper artifacts. Do you think the age of your Alaska finds is the same wage as the Michigan area Copper Culture artifacts?
