Sounds like it might be a Massachusetts cent or half cent, except for the non English legends, looking forward to pictures.

If corroded "Common Wealth" could be challenging if you had no idea. Sure sounds like a MA cent.
 

Found origin is a 700 B.C. Caesar head on one side, standing eagle on the other copper,bronze Greek coin. From what I found it is very valuable, I think my father paid $10 for it :headbang:
