Got a strange Whatzit: This thing is 1 3/8 inches in diameter, is perfect sphere, weighs 6.9 oz. and appears to made of solid COPPER! I dug in here in town in a parkway at the corner of two streets about 5 inches down. It read as a very solid dollar on my Ace 250. I had never heard of anything reading that high and have an absolutely solid sound and solid read out before. Even hit it with a magnet to see if maybe the core was iron - zilch. Anyone have a clue what this thing is?

TIA

Hey!Hey!Hey! Looks like you've found your good luck charm. "It is also reported to bring "luck" to persons especially in the recovery of property." or so says the sales pitch! ;D

Good find! See if it cures your arthritis, too. If you don't have Arthur yet, just wait a few years. >:(

Hello, this might be a longshot, but I've heard that during the Mexican American war, the Mexicans used primarily copper for cannon balls and most likely grape shot. Now Th's all depends on where you found them.
