very cool. where were these found? fossils can be found in my area, but are a rare find. I think they are very interesting. thanks for sharing.

the whole area used to be a giant shallow ocean!

That first chrinoid stem imprint is really nice. I was out Sunday scouting along the Cedar River here in town, found something that looks like your 2n'd and 3'rd ammonoid specimens. I find tons of fragments of these all in the same place, some large and some small. This particular one looks to be about 2" in diameter. I need to see if I can clean it up and free it from the matrix. Also found a pretty neat little nodule of what I think is iron pyrite on a small piece of grey limestone. I have posted a few fossil finds before, wish more people were interested in this subject.
