swastikas have been used for thousands of years and don't mean nazi all the time

The good luck design is similar to the boy scout good luck token.

Its a good luck token, not a swastika. A "swastika" is specifically referencing the Nazi symbol. The good luck symbol on your token has been in use for thousands of years.

Everyone is right. I have two tokens with the same back. Look at Excelsior shoes Boy Scout token.

I also have one from a clothier good for 1.00 off a suit or overcoat.

Best estimate are all from around 1915 - 1925. Nice score

Nope. Not true at all. This is a swastika symbol. Always has been. Was always a symbol of good fortune and well being, until Hitler decided to turn it evil. Probably should look this stuff up before posting a reply.

Also, never said it was Nazi related. I said it was a cool swastika token, so I wanted to share. Simple as that.

Actually the Nazi version of the swastika symbol has it standing on one "leg". It is oriented like a diamond rather than a square and of course the arms are always facing clockwise.

Nice finds, cool token.

Nazi rotated version is called "mobile", and they did it early on precisely to distinguish it from the other myriad designs.
What you say is generally true, there are exceptions, some period Nazi designs have flat swastikas.

Nice find, .50 was probably a decent chunk of change back then.

I found one of those good luck tokens first year I was detecting, it was an advertising token for a dolly. They are a cool find. Congrats

It is the symbol of Krit automobiles made from 1909-1916 and used these K-W shields

Awesome Jeff. I was wondering what it was. So his token is 1916 or before. Very nice. Great shape also. I think the company made a TON with the same reverse and all they had to do was to make the obverse with the store or advertising part on it for different areas.
Thanks for your input. Glad to see you are still alive.
