Credit for todays title goes to Bobbie . At 8:30 this am the temp was 23 degrees but bobbie wasnt going to be deterred by a little cold weather, so we bundled up and headed out. The sun was out and sky was bright blue. We call it a carolina blue sky round here. We spent the whole day out hit several spots. We could tell that competition had beaten us to some of the places, however we still had a good day. The silver and amethyst ring below was found at one of those places where there was fresh dig marks through out the play area. I dug it out of the grass bout 100 yards from the the play area. We both found several pieces of junk jewlery . Bobbie at one school found 3 mood rings all from the same playground. Bobbie total $ 9.94 in clad, 3 junk rings, and 3 junk pendents. I found $7.25 in clad, the silver ring, junk ring, 2 junk pendents, 3 junk pendents, and junk bracelet.
A bizzare find for me today at one school was what is called an intubation stylet. they are used with the tube that they put in folks lungs when they can breath on their own. this was a pediatric stylet. They are disposable, but I found odd for a school playground. This was placed in the garbage can before we even left the school. Congrats to all those that got out. They are now predicting snow and freezing rain for us tomorrow so I guess my day off will not be used detecting
